Chief Technology Officer CTO (f/m/d)

SMT is a fast growing cardiovascular diagnostics company with locations in Berlin, Würzburg, and Bristol. With our Vicorder platform we have a global presence in Europe, the U.S. and China. As we enter a new phase of growth, we are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – preferably in one of our locations in Berlin, Bristol, or Würzburg.


  • You are responsible for all R&D and Quality activities and people – with focus on developing the growing organization according to the company’s strategy
  • As part of the leadership team you play an active and vital role in formulating and executing a growth strategy
  • You work closely with all stakeholders to define and deliver new products and enhancements
  • You identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current & future needs
  • You develop, track and control the development of operating and capital budgets
  • You create overall technology and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines (i.e. CE, FDA, NMPA)

  • You have worked in a medical device company for min. 3 years
